In May 1996 already, a first prototype was created. Within two years, it was evolved and perfected until the idea led to a company in February 1998: HNE Technical Development and Production Corporation was born in Augsburg, Bavaria. Already in September 1998, the first HNE 10 litre HiPress receives the approval (P2-1/98) as the first portable high pressure extinguisher in Germany according to EN 3. An important milestone – as well as the patent grant in February 1999.

The numerable outstanding features convince and are accepted quickly in many professional application fields. HiPress 01/010 conquers the European market.
